Kentucky woman still gets flowers every Valentine’s Day from her late husband

Before he died in 2012, this Kentucky man made sure that his wife would always know just how much he loved her.

For over eight years, Rich Cox has had a flower arrangement delivered to his wife for her birthday and Valentine's Day, which are a day apart. https://cnn.it/2uMgntv

He's been gone for eight years, but he still gets his wife flowers every Valentine's Day
A Kentucky man passed away in 2012, but before he did, he made sure that his wife would always know just how much he loved her.

“It was really emotional,” Tracey Cox told CNN on Friday. “It was sad, but also happy at the same time because I just knew he’d always be with me.”

The couple married in July 1986 and had four children, WDRB reported. Before Richard Cox’s death, the couple renewed their vows.

Tracey Cox thought the 2013 delivery was a one-time deal, but every year her doorbell rings and the 63-year-old is presented with bouquets.

The messages change from year to year, but the love is still the same.

“Tracey, even though you can’t see me, I am always here. I love you. Love Rich,” a note from 2018 read.

“Every time I get them, it really brings back a lot of emotions and joyful tears,” Tracey Cox told CNN. “It really brings back all the memories we were able to make together.”

Tracey’s daughter, Bethany, told CNN that her father told his children about his plans.

“We don’t know exactly how it’s done, but we do know that they won’t stop any time soon,” she said.

On Facebook, Nicholas Cox wrote that his father taught him about true love, WDRB reported.

“My Father is who instilled the great heart I have within me! He taught me so much but this has to be the Greatest gift he taught me!” Nicholas Cox wrote.
