Sweet Blessings to stop making birthday cakes next year

A volunteer group that makes birthday cakes for Central Kentucky children announced that it will close next summer. 

Sweet Blessings, which meets weekly in Franklin, Woodford and Fayette counties, is a group of volunteers who make custom birthday cakes for kids in need. Children are referred to the group through their school, church or another service provider. 

Douglas Graham, the chairman of Sweet Blessing’s board, announced the decision to close in a message sent through email and posted on Facebook. The group will continue to make cakes through June. 

“After three years of prayer and diligently seeking the Lord’s direction, we have found the peace that we have been looking for. We have come to know that God has prepared us to move in other directions in order to share His love through other ministries,” Graham wrote. “Therefore, on behalf of Ashley (Gann) and our board of directors, I am announcing that Sweet Blessings will close in the same manner that it started, with a calling to convey the love of Christ, a heart for those in need and a desire to be obedient to His will. Just as the lives of children and families have been changed, the lives of everyone involved with Sweet Blessings have been changed.”

Prince William and Duchess Kate have shared a message for Prince Charles in honour of his 71st birthday. The royal is celebrating his special day in Mumbai, as part of his two-day trip to India. But he is still very much on his family's mind. A post shared on the Kensington Royal Instagram page included three photos, the first showing Charles doting on his young grandson, Prince Louis. The second snapshot shows the future King at an event with Prince William, with father and son clearly in high spirits, and the third is a touching picture showing Charles with both of his sons. "Wishing a very happy birthday to The Prince of Wales!" the caption read.

Mueller responded by firstly stating that he himself is a big fan of the dark mode trend as he finds it really cool but he also went on to say it is not something he expected users would have ever wanted from websites. He said that when it comes to SEO, there are absolutely no problems with people using dark mode. There are no special considerations required for it.

Travis Scott sent Kris Jenner the most extravagant birthday flowers

In case we needed more evidence that Travis Scott and Kylie Jenner's breakup was super amicable, La Flame sent his former mother-in-law two of the most extravagant bouquets we've ever seen.

Happy birthday, Your Royal Highness! Beaming Prince Charles is serenaded by schoolchildren as he celebrates his 71st in Mumbai

Prince Charles celebrated his birthday with a party in Mumbai today.

The Prince of Wales, who turns 71 today, marked the milestone with a small event attended by local schoolchildren whose education is supported by his charitable foundation, the British Asian Trust.

The schoolchildren presented the royal with a present featuring the stories of Hindu deity Krishna, told with tiny figures in three bonsai gardens.

They also sung 'Happy Birthday' to the royal and enjoyed a slice of delicious chocolate cake.
