Birthday cake may be the more traditional treat, but Gwen Stefani just made a serious case for birthday pies...like, plural pies. Gwen celebrated her 50th birthday on Thursday with almost 10 cakes and pies gifted to her.

Gwen shared videos of a massive sweets delivery on her Instagram story Thursday. She and boyfriend Blake Shelton went through the boxes and boxes of pastries delivered to her by her friend Shelli Azoff. The boxes appeared to include at least four cakes by fan-favorite bakery SusieCakes. One cake was a blue classic birthday cake, while another was shaped like a Tiffany's box. The delivery also included like three different pies from the Apple Pan Restaurant in Los Angeles, including two cream pies. If Shelli is reading this, I also like pie and my birthday is in May!!

Bakery-Bar Hybrid Butter & Scotch Is Serving Birthday Cake And Booze With A Side Of Feminism

In 2015, Keavy Landreth and Allison Kave made a decision—they had outgrown the street market scene. The Brooklyn-based bakers, who spent previous years serving mini cupcakes and "first prized" pies to the Smorgasburg masses separately, decided to join forces for a brick-and-mortar in Crown Heights. But neither was interested in opening a run-of-the-mill sweets shop. And so, over a few rounds of sangria, they dreamt up something better: a bakery-bar hybrid where birthday cake and booze are served with a side of feminism.

Later that year, Butter & Scotch was born. But the shop's "Fuck Trump" cake designs and "Smash The Patriarchy" cocktails, which have now become so integral to the brand, actually came about later.

"[Feminism] wasn't at the forefront in the beginning," Landreth tells Delish. "We were really focusing on just the business model...but Allison and I have both, throughout our lives, been very politically active. We're feminists on our own. So it was underlying."

By November 2016, Donald Trump was elected president. And as the political climate shifted, so did the Butter & Scotch mission. "When Trump was elected, we were like fuck everything," she continues. "Let's push this cause and make our voices heard." It was their way—as bakers, bartenders, and business owners—of sparking change. Or, as Landreth puts it, "doing something when everything else felt shitty."

Kave and Landreth, aka the @DrunkBakers, are doing much more than just icing cakes with cheeky political musings, though. They're putting their money where their mouth is, releasing limited-edition cocktails that are not only inspired by great women but give back to them, as well.

Mark Consuelos has been serving up major husband goals for a while now—and the actor's latest romantic gesture really shows how deserving he is of the title.

The Riverdale star surprised his wife of 23 years, Kelly Ripa, for her 49th birthday with a stunning floral arrangement. But, Consuelos didn't just get the Live With Kelly and Ryan host a bouquet. He went all out and decked their entire NYC home with breathtaking white gardenias to celebrate her birthday.

Ripa couldn't contain her excitement after receiving her thoughtful birthday gift and shared pictures of the floral arrangements on Instagram Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. "Best husband ever…." she wrote. She also showed her followers the hilarious card Consuelos left with the flowers: "Happy bday eve. Love M (Not Madonna)."

The not-so-subtle florals are estimated to cost up to $3,510, according to florist Rachel Cho of Rachel Cho Floral Design in New York City. "These gardenias are incredibly fragrant," she told E! News, noting some of the arrangements are worth $700 each. "So, the smell in her home must be absolutely intoxicating."

Consuelos' birthday love didn't stop with the flowers. The actor wished Ripa a happy birthday on Instagram with a sweet post.

"Happy Birthday to my Fave.." he raved. "I'm really glad you were born.. Because let's face it, if you weren't , I would've been married 3 or 4 times by now. Which would've been really expensive, not to mention the super tense parent teacher conferences and all the awkward blended family holiday/vacations. Anyway, happy birthday sweetie."

Ripa's co-host Ryan Seacrest and the rest of the Live! crew also got in on the birthday fun with a surprise of their own. They decorated Ripa's dressing room with colorful balloons, gifts, and even more flower bouquets ahead of Wednesday's show.

They even got Ripa's name spelled out in giant gold balloons! Of course, she had to document this on social media too.

Woman accidentally drives off with another child's birthday gifts at Zap Zone

TAYLOR, Mich. (WXYZ) — Taylor police are looking for a woman that drove away with another child's birthday gifts by accident.

Donna Hampton says family members offered to help her by putting her son's gifts in her car during his birthday party at Zap Zone. But, they put the gifts in the wrong car and, eventually, the owner of the car drove away.

"It was just like little things," Hampton said. "It meant a lot to a 3, almost 4-year-old."

Zap Zone is offering a $100 gift card for the person who drove off with the gifts to return them.

Over 2700 gifts PM Modi received to be auctioned from Sep 14, funds to go for cleaning Ganga

ver 2,700 gifts Prime Minister Narendra Modi received from across the country will go under the hammer from September 14 and the fund generated will be used for conservation and rejuvenation of the Ganga, Culture Minister Prahlad Patel said on Wednesday.

Currently, on display at the National Gallery of Modern Arts here, a total of 2,772 gifts including headgears, shawls, portraits, swords gifted by different organisations and chief ministers to the PM will be up for the auction on an online portal designed by the National Informatics Centre.

"The gifts received by the PM in the last six months will be auctioned. This time the auction will be completely online (earlier an auction happened in January). I thank the PM for giving us this opportunity. The minimum reserved price for the items is Rs 200 while the highest is Rs 2.5 lakh," Patel said.

At a base price of Rs 2.5 lakh, a portrait of Modi done on silk and gifted by couturier and the owner of Seematti textiles Beena Kannan has been tagged as the most expensive item.

The base or reserved price of the items have been fixed by experts.

The mementos include 576 shawls, 964 angavastram (clothes), 88 pagris (head-dress) and various jackets portraying the diversity of India. There are also many replicas of the cow.

The minister said that the items up for auction which are being displayed at NGMA will be changed every 15 days.

In the January auction, over 1,800 gifts online received by the prime minister were sold in a fortnight-long exercise and around 4,000 bidders participated.

The funds generated went towards the Namami Gange, a central government project to clean the Ganga.

The proceeds from the upcoming auction will also go to the same project.

A wooden replica of the BMW built by artisans was the most expensive memento to be sold at the e-auction, officials said, which fetched Rs 5 lakh.

They, however, refused to reveal the total amount generated in the January auction.
